Autograph letter signed from Sir Jonathan Hutchinson, London, to Isaac Hull Platt [manuscript], 1906 January 11.

Hutchinson wishes to dispel the notion that he thinks that Platt's work on Bacon cryptograms in Shakespeare is unnecessary. On the contrary, he finds it most valuable to the controversy. All he meant was that it was unnecessary to convincing himself.
